About 1,800 careers are to be made in South Yorkshire building 10 new environmentally pleasant airships.
Hybrid Air Autos (HAV), a compact Bedford-dependent business, declared on Wednesday it had signed a deal to offer a Spanish airline with 10 of its 100-passenger Airlander 10 helium-loaded airships.
The plane, which the corporation says will have underneath a tenth of the CO2 footprint for each passenger of jet planes, will be built at a new eco-friendly aerospace producing cluster in South Yorkshire.
