The Tree Top Walk, Sungai Sedim
Recently I recall this old place, located at Kulim, Kedah. It have a huge metal made hanging bridge canopy walk and decide to bring my family member to visit again.
From Penang island, we drive approximate 1.5 hour to reach this destination, there is a small car park before entering the tree top walk.
We don’t see any sign mention that require paying; I assume is FREE parking.
Opposite the car park, there is a small building, I remember is a place for team building usage; I saw small dining area with some basin and toilet.
Straight heading to the entrance, you just require walking approximate 100-200 meter to reach the ticket counter, during this walk, you may enjoy the natural view, a lot of big tree surrounding you.
The Tree Top Walk Entrance Fees
Once you see the ticket counter, there is a toilet, souvenir store, information center, and an office.
The tree top walk entrance fees / ticket fee is RM12 for adult, children and senior citizen at RM6
Once you enter to the canopy walk, the whole journey around 1KM + (I guess, as it never stated). You may start from any direction, either clockwise or anti clock wise up to your preference.
Along the journey, there is a lot of tree and plant, if you like nature and plant, you will definitely enjoy it. There is also many sign board show the detail along the way.
Old time, I also see a lot of photographers take photo on birds. If you are a bird lover, you may spot a lot of species here.
Along the path, if you fear of height, you will feel suffering to finish the whole journey. Some part of the journey as tall as 26 meter height from the forest level.
I put my camera at the floor and take a photo toward downstair. Simply 7 to 8 level of a building height.
Either before or after you enter the tree talk walk, you will definitely see this photo booth.
A good place for you to take a group photo either you come together with friend or family
