The City of Lawrence is seeking for local community input as part of an forthcoming update to the city’s manufacturer and marketing techniques.
The city allotted $100,000 toward the work. That incorporates $81,535 toward a deal with Guidebook Studio, with the remainder employed for applying the consultant’s suggestions, in accordance to metropolis spokesperson Porter Arneill.
The metropolis selected Guideline Studio, explained as “place-brand” consultants, as portion of a request for proposals approach. The city’s RFP states in section that the metropolis is searching for a complete brand name marketing campaign in assistance of the city’s strategic program, which will be the basis of the “brand refresh.” The RFP states the city is looking for a brand that will “drive business attraction and retention, energize existing inhabitants and position our Metropolis as a fascinating area for long term inhabitants.”
Arneill explained the city’s latest logo and design tutorial dates to 2007, and the metropolis has not refreshed or current its manufacturer due to the fact. He said the brand name refresh will advantage the community because it will help the town far better connect and have interaction with Lawrence people and people who work in or stop by the town.
As portion of the approach, the city has a 10-minute on-line study about brand perceptions, which Arneill explained will help the city understand what the local community sees as the city’s best and most distinctive attributes. A digital meeting will also be held Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Participants will have to signal up via Zoom in advance.
