Greg Gutmeir has been appointed chief financial officer for Northwestern Community Services.
Northwestern serves the city of Winchester and the counties of Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah and Warren, offering outpatient, case management, day support, and residential and emergency programs for children and adults with emotional/behavioral disorders, mental illness, substance use, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Gutmeir has more than 30 years of healthcare finance and accounting experience, including over six years serving in a CFO capacity. Most recently he served as CFO for UHS North Spring Behavioral Health Hospital, CFO for Valley CSB and Bath Community Critical Access Hospital and 14 years as director of finance at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Faces of Tourism
Shenandoah County has announced an upcoming date for it Faces of Tourism program, which includes a tour of a local hospitality business, town or attraction for a behind-the-scenes experience ending with lunch at a reasonable fee.
Participants will learn about different industry sectors including unique lodging, culinary arts, hotel and motel operations, area attractions, farm visits, outdoor recreation, arts and culture, our downtowns and the amenities at area resorts, camps and event venues.
This year’s program starts by featuring the Town of Strasburg from 10 a.m. to noon April 20.
The tour begins at the Strasburg Visitor and Information Center and Hupps Hill Museum, 33229 Old Valley Pike. Enjoy a loop around the walking trail, then carpool or drive to Strasburg Square to hear about this venue and the events planned this year. Explore downtown with a Sip and Snack Walking Tour including a tour of the King Street murals and local businesses Nancy’s Coffee Bar for mini specialty coffees, Pancake Underground for a brunch snack, lunch snack, Box Office Brewery and ending at Strasburg Emporium for a to-go treat from Bretzels.

Bright View, an outpatient addiction treatment program, has announced the opening of a new treatment center at 200 Faraday Drive, Winchester.

Blink
Blink, a leading owner, operator and provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment and services in partnership with Virginia Clean Cities, has announced the installment of six Level 2 charging ports at the Hampton Inn in Woodstock.
The installations have been funded in part by a grant from the Mid Atlantic Electrification Partnership through Virginia Energy.
